Stephanie is a paralegal in our New York office responsible for assisting the attorneys with our Clients’ cases. She also assists with client intake and liaison. She manages the calendar for the attorneys in New York and sets appointments for clients. Stephanie ensures that our clients are cared for in a professional, courteous, and expeditious manner.
Maria, who is the senior member of our support staff, has held many positions with Pozo Goldstein, LLP. Her current role is Financial Manager and support team liaison. Maria heads our contracts and billing department and is the point of contact for all financial issues related to our clients. Maria is a graduate of the University of Miami.
Born in Havana City, Cuba. Received her Bachelor’s Degree at Faculty of Communications from University of Havana and Certification in Paralegal Studies from University of Miami.
She is registered with the IRS as Tax Professional with experience in personal and business tax preparation. Alessandra is also a licensed Florida Notary Public.
After UM graduation, had the privilege to work for different Law Firms including Criminal Defense, Family Law and Tax Law, bringing together experience to understand different aspects and how they affect Immigration Law. Alessandra’s specific areas of work include Removal Defense, U-Visas, Waivers, Naturalization and Adjustment of Status.
She has volunteer hours and participates in community events hosted by AILA to help low-income families to apply for citizenship and learn about the value of their electoral Vote.
Diana joined Pozo Goldstein in May 2021. She earned her bachelor’s degree, Magna Cum Laude, in International Business and Pre-Law Certification from Florida International University. Diana interned at Pozo Goldstein in 2019, and upon graduation joined the team. Ms. Cordova is a first-generation Mexican American from Miami, FL, and is fluent in Spanish and English.
Her passion for immigration came from her family’s personal challenges within the immigration system. Being an advocate in the immigration field would allow her to be an agent of change. She is committed to meeting our client’s expectations as she experienced the complicated immigration system first-hand. She plans on pursuing a J.D. in the future.
Diana works on a variety of cases ranging from Removal Defense, Asylums, Violence Against Women Act (VAWA), Naturalization, and Adjustment of Status before USCIS and Immigration Court (EOIR).

In her capacity as a client liaison, her responsibilities include client intake, scheduling appointments, and organizing the calendar for the attorneys at our Miami office. She prepares files for Court Hearings and USCIS interviews. Beyond the paperwork, Vanessa is highly interested in immigration law as it is a way to build a more diverse and inclusive America.
